The First Tee of Greater Miami Valley is a non-profit organization that provides young people, ages 8 - 18, of all backgrounds with the opportunity to develop life-enhancing values through golf and character education.  Participants in the program learn to apply nine life-enhancing values: Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Confidence, Responsibility, Perseverance, Courtesy and Judgement. 

Hinutech is awarding scholarships to two worthy Butler County youths for the July/August sessions to be held at the Twin Run Golf Course in Hamilton, Ohio.  By submitting an essay (up to 1000 words) about one of the nine life-enhancing values taught by the First Tee Program and why it is important to you, you will be eligible to receive a scholarship for the program.  Scholarship recipients must be between the ages of 8 - 18 and live in Butler County, Ohio.

The essay submission deadline for essays is June 5, 2009, so don't delay and submit your essay today!

Recipients will be notified on June 12, 2009.
